The Diva of Tomorrow made the most of her chance by winning Raw’s Divas Battle Royal, but whether she can compete at Extreme Rules remains in question following Naomi’s post-match attack.
While traveling with WWE for its spring 2015 Live European Tour, Paige and WWE Director of Operations Kane stopped in Cardiff to visit the set of BBC’s mega-popular science-fiction series, “Doctor Who.”
WWE have posted the following statement after tonight’s edition of Raw in London.
UPDATE 4/14/2015: Following a medical consultation, Paige’s doctors have advised her not to compete until further notice.
Naomi’s attack on Paige following the Divas Battle Royal has left the No. 1 contender to the Divas Title injured.
Though the specifics have yet to be confirmed, early reports suggest that Paige suffered internal injuries as a result of the attack, which saw The Diva of Tomorrow beaten outside the ring and thrown into the barricade repeatedly.

WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella vs. Paige
WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella will face a familiar foe at Extreme Rules, when she steps into championship action against two-time former champion Paige.
Paige became the top challenger to the butterfly-emblazoned title on the April 13 Raw after winning a No. 1 Contender’s Battle Royal in London, mere hours away from Paige’s birthplace of Norwich, England. Souring the gigantic hometown win, however, was the reaction of Naomi, whom Paige ousted from the Battle Royal to claim victory. Apparently believing herself to be a more suitable No. 1 contender, Naomi — who holds two pinfall wins over Nikki Bella — shockingly thrashed Paige after the match, repeatedly tossing The Diva of Tomorrow into the ring barricade.
The ruthless attack not only cast a shadow over Paige’s accomplishment, but also throws into question whether the No. 1 contender will be in any condition to compete April 26 at Extreme Rules.
If Paige is cleared to go, she will have the opportunity to settle her longstanding beef with Divas Champion Nikki, who, along with sister Brie, has ridiculed Paige for months. Additionally, Paige will have the chance to make history, as a title win against at Extreme Rules would make her a three-time Divas Champion — only the third in WWE history.
Watch two of WWE’s fiercest fighters lock horns with the Divas division’s top accolade on the line when Extreme Rules airs live on WWE Network Sunday, April 26.
No. 1 Contender’s Diva Battle Royal
Paige vs. Summer Rae vs. Naomi vs. Rosa Mendes vs. Natalya vs. Cameron vs. Alicia Fox vs. Emma
Nattie, Summer and Emma get knocked out almost immediately, then Alicia and Naomi go at it with Alicia hitting a scissors kick. Cameron joins in and they both try to eliminate Paige, but Paige saves herself and Cameron kicks her in the face. They throw Paige through the ropes again but she lands on the apron, then Naomi hits a Double Rear View as they turn around. Naomi throws Cameron outside and Paige tosses Alicia, then Naomi kicks Paige in the head and pulls her to the apron. Naomi knees her a few times and tries to kick her off the apron, but Paige hangs on and repeatedly knees Naomi in the face. Naomi comes back with a high kick to the face, then Paige catches her leg and Naomi hits an enziguiri. Naomi goes for a Rear View but Paige ducks it, and she kicks Naomi twice and eliminates her to win.
Bryon Saxton interviews Paige after the match and she cuts a promo about this being her house, and she came a long way to get there. Naomi rushes in from behind and attacks her, then whips Paige into the barricade and mocks her.
